Jan B Parrish, GRI, SFR, Realtor
Jan is an award-winning Realtor who uses personalized, professional service to help create your life's story! Jan is known for her vibrant presence and unbridled enthusiasm. Some may call her conservatively flamboyant. But don't let her bubbly personality fool you, she won't rest until she champions the interests of her clients with her bold, persuasive negotiation skills.
A Colorado Native and ‘Barely Boomer,’ Jan loves all things Colorado, especially the Rockies! She married her pen pal during the blizzard of '83, after four years of corresponding via snail mail. Jan and her husband have lived in Virginia and California but are now happily settled in her home state of Colorado. “We’ve lived for ten years in your hometown, I think it’s only fair that we live the rest of our lives in mine,” she told her husband, Greg. They have been blessed with two grown children and three fabulous granddaughters.
“There’s never a bad time for a good cup of coffee,” Jan is fond of saying. In her spare time, you might find her at the local Starbucks hanging out with friends, honing her sharpshooting skills at the gun range, or catching the latest movie at her local theater. She relaxes by creating abstract art in her home studio. She also enjoys speaking, writing, reading, and hiking in the Colorado mountains. The Colorado Rockies are her all-time favorite team and she has some remarkable stories. She might even show you the picture she had taken with Dinger (if you don’t know who Dinger is, you’re not a Rockies fan)!
Jan became a Realtor in 2012, after raising her children and caring for her ailing mother-in-law. She began her career at Keller Williams Southland’s, owned her own firm, and is now affiliated with HomeSmart. She was awarded Your Castle’s Rookie of the Year in 2013, for high sales volume her first full year in real estate and she was honored to receive the 5280 5 Star Real Estate Professional Award for multiple years. This is particularly meaningful to her as it is awarded by her clients. During the pandemic, Jan became a certified SFR (Short Sale Resource) and completed her GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute).
